In honour of Black History Month and continuing to diversify our products and offerings we wanted to share some of our favourite Black-Owned Businesses.
Black-Owned Businesses @ Caribou Gifts
Ohh! Foods
Ohh! Foods is a local Canadian and black-owned business selling allergen friendly, better-for-you treats. Brittany created Ohh! Foods after she developed a serious nut allergy at 18 years of age. She has created a line of snack bites and edible cookie dough and frosting made with natural and simple ingredients. You can find the Apple Pie Bites and Coconut Brownie Bites in some of our gift baskets, add them to a custom basket or purchase them individually. These snack bites are free from soy, dairy, peanuts, nuts and gluten making them a tasty and notorious snack for most diets and school.

Please Notes
Please Notes is also a local Canadian black-owned business. Cheryl created Please Notes when at a turning point in her life and having found great comfort and direction from affirmations. Cheryl has created a line of guided gratitude journals, clarity journals, planners, stickers and other stationary products filled with positive affirmations. You can find her guided gratitude journal and her jotter pads at our store.

Other Amazing Black-Owned Businesses in Toronto
Black Owned TO
Black Owned TO has a retail marketplace at Scarborough Towncenter and now a location at Square One featuring products from dozen of Black-Owned businesses. Going in this store is literally a time warp for me, there's so much to look at and so many amazing new products to look at and try.

Mary's Brigadeiro Chocolate
I happen to have a sweet tooth and chocolate from Mary's Brigadeiro is the best of the best. We chatted with them about including these in our gift baskets but due to the very short shelf life we did not end up carrying these in our store but we highly recommend checking them out!
