Location: 590 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto
Starting Wage: $18.00 / hour
Employee Discount: 25% off regular-priced items
Schedule: 3–4 days per week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, with additional shifts possible during peak holiday season)
About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team. This role supports both our retail store and online operations, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their workday.
The ideal candidate will love gifting, have an eye for presentation, and take pride in creating a warm, memorable experience for every customer. While we would prefer to hire one associate for this role, we are open to splitting shifts between two candidates if needed.
Responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional in-store experience to every customer

Learn about and confidently recommend our products

Assist customers in selecting the perfect gift

Process purchases using our POS system

Package and ship online and corporate orders

Open and close the retail store on assigned shifts

Support merchandising and store displays

Assemble gift baskets, prepare shipping labels, and package large corporate orders

Assist with inventory management

Contribute to website updates (training provided)

Help prepare social media posts and videos

Other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Genuine enthusiasm for the gifting industry

Basic gift wrapping skills

Detail-oriented, organized, and patient

Self-motivated and proactive

Problem-solving mindset
Working Conditions

Ability to stand, bend, lift, and reach for extended periods

Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs

Ability to work independently, including closing shifts after dark
