The True North Talks is a novel of Canadian political intrigue — fiction, yes, but anchored in
the history and unfinished debates that still shape our country. Readers are soon drawn into
today’s fiercest issues: interprovincial trade, pipelines, and Newfoundland’s drive to deliver
energy through a national power corridor.

When a new Prime Minister from the West takes office, he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy
determined to keep Quebec locked in the past and Canada divided. Emerging from the unfinished business of the FLQ crisis, this underground movement has quietly plotted for decades. Once discovered, assassination attempts, kidnappings, and political murders follow, testing the resilience of Canadian democracy.

The novel weaves action with echoes of our past, reviving fragments of forgotten headlines and memories many Canadians thought were buried, both familiar and unsettling. In the end, a determined Prime Minister argues that Quebec’s signing of the Constitution is not only possible but essential. At the same time, the voices of First Nations leaders add urgency and moral weight, reminding the country that unity cannot be built on silence or division. The True North Talks is a positive and hopeful vision for Canadian unity — written with today’s urgency and a message that may well become tomorrow’s headlines.
