Hi, my name is Julie and I’m the latest addition to the Caribou Gifts team!
I’m currently finishing up my second year of school at Toronto Metropolitan University where I major in Psychology. When I’m not at school or the store, I enjoy baking, hanging out with friends and listening to music. I’ve been a Junction neighbourhood resident my whole life and love coming to work surrounded by familiar faces. While the neighbourhood has changed a lot over the years, it’s nice to see that the community remains committed to shopping locally and supporting their fellow Junction residents.
While I have only just begun to work here, I’ve already had a chance to pick out a few favourite products. A staple in most of our baskets is the Donini chocolate bar, which we offer in two flavours: Dark Chocolate with Raspberries and Salted Caramel. I had the chance to try the raspberry flavour and it didn’t take long for me to realize why it’s a gift basket staple. Another favourite of mine is the purposely mismatched Friday Co. Socks. I think they’re a great gift for both adults and kids, and with the selection of fun prints they offer, you’ll be able to find socks for every person on your list. The more mismatched the better in my opinion! I also love the new Woobles crochet craft kit we just ordered. I think it’s a fun beginners kit that leaves you with the cutest toy when you’re finished.
