Family Day weekend is always a welcome break during the longest shortest month of the year š For our family it often overlaps with my sonās birthday. Heās our first born and so itās particularly sweet to have an extra day to celebrate when we went from being a couple to a family.Ā
One of our favorite ways to be together is āmaking thingsā as my daughter calls it. The āthingā might be muffins, a craft or Lego. But what weāre really making are the core memories that I hope theyāll hold on to as they grow. The times mom and dad were 100% focused on them, and having just as much fun as they were!Ā
