For anyone who couldn’t wait for make-your-own-tacos night as a kid, this one’s for you. Inspired by Mexican cuisine, our tortilla soup is one of our most-loved mixes (and not too hot!). Opt for beef or chicken—chef’s choice—and garnish with sour cream and shredded cheese.
1) In large pot, brown 1-2 lb hamburger and 1 onion, chopped.
2) Add 10 C water and bean portion of soup mix (pinch bag below chickpeas).
3) Boil, then simmer covered for 1 hr.
4) Add rest of package and 796 ml can diced tomatoes; cook covered for 1-2 hr. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with sour cream, tortilla chips, and grated cheese.
INGREDIENTS FIELD HARVESTED. INSPECT FOR ELEMENTS OF NATURE.
Add 1 diced onion and 1-2 LBS ground beef or diced chicken. Sauté while stirring until meat is browned and onion is translucent.
Hit the cancel button. Then add 10 C water, package contents, and a 796 mL can of diced tomatoes.
OPTION: add a package of taco seasoning.
Secure lid and close vent and set to SOUP for 42 minutes then Quick Release.
Garnish with 1 TBSP of sour cream crushed tortilla chips and grated cheddar cheese.
